Police in Brazil say they have recovered two paintings worth millions of dollars stolen last month from a museum in the centre of Sao Paulo.

Two suspects were put under arrest over the theft of the works, by Pablo Picasso and the Brazilian artist Candido Portinari.

I thought there were three thieves involved in this crime of stealing a Picasso & a Portinari works of art? Oh,.. thats right he is the one who spilled his guts to these cops to where these two paintings were at and he had already been under their care. I was just wondering if those two solders were feeling a little weired about what they were guarding, and no less right there in the police station as easy pray for another thieve.

I think this could all be bull crap,.... how the hell did these police recognize these paintings as authentic,... especially since the family which is running the Picasso foundation can't do that. I'm sure the authenticity now standing is not in the least bit at its end. Who are these thieves who is good enough to break in a steal them unnoticed, while remaining at large for 30 days or so all get caught by one of them turning snitch? I'd only guess that this is a lot larger crime than what it is leading people to believe. My guess is that the museum will get back one being a forgery to hang on their wall while both these paintings, the Picasso and the Braizilian artist Candido Portinari were the one which this so called criminal lead the police back to find. Believe me,... this is much bigger than it seems. It is not all that hard this day and age to pull wool over museum curators eyes, or much more, anyone else's tied up in this supposed world of fine art.

Just a stupid ass scenario,... I'd say the law enforcement could have themselves a better and a closer look at ones inside the museum, ones who could possibly have had a copy already waiting for the replacement of the original, or even hanging there on the wall for these thieves to remove and take with them when they were committing this burglary. Now that is something for their law enforcement to think about and consider. How many years would any of these workers there at the museum haft to work there in the museum to make enough money to buy one of those multi-million dollar paintings that they fell in love with? Taking this big of risk, the thief may have wanted it to look as if they wanted two works of art, one that they loved and then the other,.. and ones working there knowing how much this person loved the Picasso, and that just may be enough to stop any suspicions leading to him,.... or let's say even her.
